Biographical history
William Wallace White was born on May 22, 1886. He was the son of John and Caroline White, of Woodstock Ontario. White was the husband of Margaret White, of Blyth, Ontario. White served in the Canadian Infantry (Western Ontario Regiment) in the 18th Bn. He died on September 14, 1918 at the age of 32. He is buried at Ligny-St. Flochel British Cemetery, Averdoingt, France.

Scope and content
The collection contains genealogical material and correspondence related to members of the White family of Woodstock, Oxford County, Ontario, including David and Maggie White. The papers and correspondence of Arthur Veitch, as well as other miscellaneous correspondence, are also included.
