    Biographical history

    Dr. William Malcolm Drummond (1897-1965) was a Professor and Head of the Ontario Agricultural College’s Department of Agricultural Economics from 1937 to 1958. He was appointed to the Royal Commission on Canada's Economic Prospects in August 1955, one of his first tasks being an investigation of the Dairy Industry of Ontario.

    The collection contains resource material including various submissions relating to William Malcolm Drummond (1897-1965) as a member of the Royal Commission on Canada's Economic Prospects and Milk Industry (1944-1956). Material related to OAC’s Feed Industry Business Management Course (1959-1963) and the Stewart H. Lane Commemorative Fund (1955), is also included.
