    Administrative history

    Officially formed in June 1965 by the merger of the Ontario Folk School Council and various Ontario groups of the CBC’s National Farm Radio Forum, the Rural Learning Association was established to educate, promote rural social justice, and attempt to regenerate rural communities in Ontario. The Rural Learning Association is now the Rural Urban Learning Association (RULA).
