Biographical history
Josephine Barrington (1910-1973) was born on August 9, 1910 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Barrington's acting career began at Hart House Theatre, and continued with companies such as the John Holden Players, the New Play Society, Jupiter Theatre, and Crest Theatre. As an actress, she was known for Playdate (1961), Now That April's Here (1958), and Folio (1955). She also appeared in radio and television drama. Barrington founded the Juveniles School of Drama in Toronto in 1936. She was married to Kenneth Garnett Tatlow. She died on February 27, 1973 in Toronto.
