File consist of Reid's scholarly work, professional activities and correspondence. Records include research notes, various articles published by Reid, notes and correspondence related to the organization of the 16th Century Studies Conference (1979), and the creation of a festschrift for Paul Wooley edited by Reid as well as course development notes for classes taught by Reid at McGill University and the University of Guelph. The fonds also hold ten boxes of correspondence related to Reid's personal and professional life.
