Also includes 94 photocopies of broadsides, Newcastle, 1793-1846. Topics include the corn bill, the Newcastle and Shields Railway, the races, cholera, elections and the Festival of St. Crispin.
Collection contains an album of English postal addresses, chiefly bearing frank marks, a few with penny stamps and some miscellaneous items, 1800-1857. Cover with title : "Incidents in the Lives of Shipmasters."
