The collection contains materials created or acquired by Donald C. Beckett during his career at the Kemptville School of Agriculture and Agriculture Canada. Records include various agricultural advertisements and photographs relating to the Kemptville Agricultural School, the Barnard Power Curd Mill, the Brownsville Milk Powder Factory, and the 1893 Mammoth Cheese from Perth, Ontario. Notebooks from 1912 to 1934 belonging to A. L. Gibson, a Professor of Dairy Chemistry at the Ontario Agricultural College, are also included.

The collection contains various articles and clippings, photographs, a family tree, and other records related to the MacDonald/McDonald, Haggan, McKinnon, Taylor, and Bolton families. Materials include Family Herald articles (March 14, 1957-July 18, 1968) and a family history written by Donald MacDonald; the final issue of the Family Herald (September 26, 1968); a photograph of O.A.C. class of 1897 mock parliament (includes G.S. Henry); a biography and obituary of James C. MacDonald; articles on Hugh Graham (Lord Atholstan), founder of the "Montreal Star" and the "Family Herald and Weekly Star," and other articles relating to Scottish immigrants and the future of farming.

The fonds consists of Donald McQueen Shaver’s business and personal files including correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, shipping invoices, promotional materials, conference proceedings, articles, lecture series, certificates, photographs, and news clippings.

The Eastern Canadian Farm Writers' Association collection contains association newsletters, executive minutes, correspondence, meeting and workshop minutes, awards program details, financial records, publicity, clippings, and photographs. Boxes 9-16 contain 64 scrapbooks of articles written by award-winning reporter and columnist, Jim Romahn, from the Kitchener-Waterloo Record, Ontario Farmer, Western Producer, Manitoba Co-operator, Farm & Country, Ontario Hog Farmer, and Canada Poultryman.

The Eastern Dairy School fonds includes school and course calendars, a record-book of applications for attendance from 1903 to 1966, registration and attendance books, ledger of course enrollments, examination results and prize winners, and class photographs. Also included is a list of school alumni from 1898 and 1945, an alphabetical ledger of course enrollments from 1898 to 1974, and a history of the school compiled by W. S. Young in 2004.

The collection contains advertising brochures, catalogues, correspondence, a manual, and price lists relating to Eastern Steel Products Limited.

Title taken from contents of the collection. The collection, donated by Margaret Easun, granddaughter of Archibald McDiarmid, consists of patent material, photographs, handbill, plowing match programs and prize lists, receipts and accounts, correspondence, newspaper articles, research notes and biographical information related to Archibald McDiarmid and the McDiarmid plow.

The E. S. Archibald papers contains addresses, contracts, correspondence, reports, articles, scrapbooks, photographs, postcards, notes, and other materials related to the career of Edgar Spinney Archibald (1885-1968) as Director of the Canadian Experimental Farms Service and as an agricultural adviser in Ethiopia.

The collection contains brochures, catalogues, and owner’s manuals relating to products manufactured by the Electric Wheel Company.
