Materials include: two second year prize books from 1886 for Mathematics and Book Keeping ("Switzerland: It’s Mountains and Valleys" by Woldemar Raden and “Agriculture and Live Stock” (Webster's Dictionary, 1885); copies of "Short Notes on Veterinary Medicine for the Use of Students at the O.A.C." by J. Hugo Reed, "What the Rocks Reveal, or Geology Simplified" by James Hoyes Panton (1847-1898), and "The Book of Discipline of the Religious Society of Friends" (1929); a Robertson Associate Award medal from 1933; World's Grain Exhibition and Conference, Regina pin, from 1933; three handwritten notebooks of agronomic recorded experiments; a copy of the 7th Annual Report of the Ontario School of Agriculture and Experimental Farm, 1881; a coloured copy print of "A Bird's Eye View of the Ontario Agricultural College and Experimental Farm"; and meeting minutes of the Committee on Experiments of the Experimental Union, 1886-1891, with names and addresses of experimenters.
Copies of Zavitz’s book “Spiritual Life” (1932), Laura Quirk’s “Dr. Charles Ambrose Zavitz: Agriculturalist, Experimentalist, Professor and Friend” (2004), and “The History of North Middlesex District Women's Institutes: Golden Anniversary, 1903-1953” (1953), are also included. The copy book, in fine hand, is in leather binding with raised bands on spine and faded inscription on cover.
