Contains an album of photographs of railway bridge contruction in Ontario, ca.1875. Record of the early days of Canadian railway construction showing the bridges with gangers, surveyors, locomotives, ballast waggons and coaches. Included are bridges over the Grand and Thames Rivers and the railway settlements at St. Thomas and Port Stanley.

Collection contains sheet music relating chiefly to the war years in Canada. Some pieces of music are stamped "O.A. College Soldiers Memorial Fund."; "Massey March" was published as a supplement and presented with Massey's Illustrated, vol. 6, no. 2 [1887]. It was dedicated to H.A. Massey, president of the Mssey Manufacturing Co., and has a picture of a man riding a horse-drawn hay mower on the front page.

Collection of Canadian World War II posters including some Post-War Rehabilitation posters published chiefly by the Canadian Government, also a few British ones, ca.1939-1949. 4 folders; Text for opening lecture ("Our common enemy: WW2 posters from the Special Collections of the University of Guelph") given by guest curator Gregory Klages for an exhibition of these and other posters in Archival and Special Collections (Chinese Poster Collection and Russian Propaganda Posters, 1939-1945), held at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre, April 24 to July 27, 1997, is included with the Russian Propaganda Posters, 1939-1945 in XM5 MS A003, map drawer 20.
