Macdonald Institute scrapbooks contain articles on Adelaide Hoodless, Hoodless Family papers, and Women's Institute (Hamilton area). Includes copy of "Ontario Women's Institute Story" (75th anniversary) autographed by Helen M. McKercher. Other copies of photographs of wedding of Edna Hoodless and H.M. Members of the Ambrose family lived variously in Kingston, Hamilton, Toronto, Woodstock, and Holland Landing, Ontario.
The Armstrong family fonds contains digital records pertaining to the Armstrong family of Eramosa Township and the Armstrong Mill in Guelph township, Wellington County. Materials relate to the Armstrong Mill's business activities (1862-1891) and also post office information (1876-1913) that was recovered with some of the mill records.
